How It Happened... ..And What it is Today
Shandra Blackwell learned to read blueprints early in life. As the story goes - "Apples don't roll far from the tree", and this is how the idea of owning her own interior design firm began to develop at an early age.
The concept?
To provide clients with an opportunity to achieve amazing results in their homes and offices with a budget in mind, and to never duplicate the creativity into someone else's space.
The Name?
Shea is Shandra's nickname. Noel is her maiden name. It's that simple.
Life As Luxury?
Yes. That is exactly what Shandra creates for her nearly 2200 clients nationwide - Regardless of budget.
Green Initiative?
Shea-Noel Interiors, Inc. has operated under a "green" policy since 2003. Creating healthy spaces is a priority for Shea-Noel 's Design Team.
Result?
A client once mentioned to a friend the Shea-Noel Interiors Design Team had to be "The Interior Design Firm of the South" because of our extensive work in the southern regions. Well, it caught on.
Today?
Regarded as one of the leading interior design firms in the South, SNI prides itself on community involvement and the "down to earth client focused results based, one thing - one time" approach.

After earning her degree in HES/Interior Design from The University of Tennessee at Martin, Blackwell choose to move from her hometown of Columbia, TN, to Memphis to pursue her career. In 2002, Blackwell founded Shea-Noel Interiors.
Blackwell is the The Tennessee Chapter of ASID'sDirector-At-Large, a juror for the NCIDQexamination, a member of the Mid-South USGBC Chapter, and has taught Commercial Interior Design and Code at her alma mater, UT-Martin.
Involvement in the community includes working with the Green Hope Foundation, Les PasseesMemphis, Zeta Tau Alpha, Independant Film Festivals and Memphis in May, Her spare time is spent with her husband and 2 children. Blackwell loves boating and wakeboarding.

After earning her degree in HES/Interior Design From the University of Tennessee at Martin, Young-Robbins went on to live outside of Nashville to design high end homes on the construction side and then joined the Shea-Noel Interiors staff in 2008 to open the Nashville Office.
Young-Robbins is also an instructor a O'More College of Design, a certified draftsman, and an active part of her community. She is also a juror for the NCIDQ examination.
Growing up in Savannah, TN, Young-Robbins is very active in her hometown, an avid runner, loves travel and boating.
