So. The kids are back in school. There is only one big weekend left to commemorate the lazy days of the hot summer. What to do now?
Well, I am not sure about you. But for me and my family, it is time to start thinking about the holidays. I am wanting to redo our dining room. Our family keeps growing, and growing - so the dining table needs to as well. Also, about two years ago, we had our home featured in a Tennessee magazine because I apparently went a little crazy with the Christmas trees in the house. So now every year since - I try to skimp by and only put up one...I haven't gotten away with it yet!!! So, we are AGAIN, going to have trees all over the house.
I always know when the focus changes from fun to fun when clients start calling requesting that I put them on the schedule to have their homes designed for the holidays - and today.....it happened again! We do fill up fast, so this client isn't going to miss her party deadline!
Last year a client of mine had a few holiday celebrations, and we did her trees. Her tree in her entry is HUGE too!!! I will take photos of it, and post it once it is complete....last year it took 4 of us to put it together, and then the huge ornaments were lost practically!! Thanks to a lot of ribbon, cool things and a few days of love, it was beautiful!!! Small children could hide in it, and you would think they were ornaments!
Just think! In a few months, we are all going to be complaining about how cold it is....I think I am going to go outside and push the little one in her swing!
